Augusta Ky Cabin is at home.

It is always fascinating to see a commissioned painting hung up on display in my customer's home. It is interesting to see how the piece accents the surroundings in the room or how other elements accent the painting. This post is unique because the customer commissioned a painting of what their log cabin home looked like when it was built in 1797 to house Augusta, Kentucky's first school. So this house portrait is hanging in the structure it was painted to represent. The other very special blessing is that I got to see the painting hung up in their home and even have my photograph taken with Jennifer Sauers who commissioned it.
