Personalized, commissioned paintings orders are so rewarding to do for me.  I have met many artists who do not like to do commissioned orders because they feel it limits their creative flow.  For me, that opportunity is a challenge which allows someone's special memory to come into a visual reality.  In the case of this 30x48"  painting, the customers were a joy to work with.  Usually, that order is all about a place, time or event that was meaningful to a family.  Some families have ordered a painting of the homeplace they grew up in and then had me create for them 15 or more canvas prints to give to family members for Christmas.  It can be a one stop shopping experience.  If you have a special place in mind that you would love to capture a visual memory of, you can send a photo for an estimate.
